We completed a solar and battery installation in Hastings in June 2026. This system has 13 Aiko Energy AIKO-A475-MCE54Mb solar panels, giving a total size of 6.18 kWp. An Anker SOLIX X1-H6K-S inverter is part of the setup, alongside a 10 kWh Anker SOLIX X1-B5-H battery. The system generates 5,666 kWh annually. It offsets 103% of the home's electricity consumption. The homeowner sees estimated annual savings of £1,551.

Installer’s notes

13 Aiko A475 panels, 6.18 kWp (the size of the array), with a 10 kWh Anker battery. As with the 12 panel Hastings system, it was designed to make about what the household uses in a year. The customer called it a "faultless and fantastic journey from start to finish". He mentioned that his was a "slightly different installation" that had to work from day one.
